The cause of the connection issues is an incident at Amazon Web Services (AWS), which is Reddit’s hosting provider. There’s trouble loading the website in some countries in Europe (Finland, Spain, Italy, Portugal), as well as Canada, the Philippines, and Australia. Some users in the UK reported that the website loads very slowly or not at all. The U.S. East Coast and Northern Europe are the regions where users reported connection trouble.
