French IT services firm Sopra Steria was hit by a version of the Ryuk ransomware that had not been publicly seen before in October. The firm now estimates that recovering from the attack could cost up to 50 million euros ($59 million) The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment about whether it paid any ransom to its attackers.
