Ransomware attacks increase in Trinidad and Tobago

LoopNews TT published a post on October 28, 2020, authored by Nneka Parsanlal about the T&T cybersecurity team reporting an increase in ransomware attacks.

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Cyber Security Incident Response Team (TT-CSIRT), both public and private companies are being targeted by a ransomware cyberattack and therefore urges companies to be aware. The Digicel seminar revealed that ANSA MCAL is one of two companies that have fallen victim to this malware.
