Pwn2Own Miami Contestants Haul in $180K for Hacking ICS Equipment

The first Pwn2Own hacking competition exclusively focuses on industrial control systems has kicked off in Miami. The contest hosts at Trend Micro s Zero Day initiative (ZDI) have allocated more than $250,000 in cash and prizes for the contest. So far, a total of $180,000 has been awarded for pwning five different products. The categories include Control Servers, HMI/Operator Workstation software, DNP3 Gateway and Engineering Workstation Software.
