Germany’s Cyber Defense Center is on high alert as personal information and official documents of hundreds of German politicians have been leaking online since at least early December 2018. Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier are among those affected by the leak. The details are still available online at publishing time and include addresses, mobile phone numbers, ID cards, landline numbers, chat conversation logs, physical and email addresses. Some artists, such as hip-hop band K.I.Z. or director and producer Philipp Dettmer, have also been doxed this way.
