Presidential Candidates All But Ignore Cybersecurity

Candidates for president of the United States don’t have much to say about the cyberthreat. Recent cybersecurity talk in the campaign has focused on Clinton’s use of a private email server. Candidates haven’t raised cybersecurity as an issue because they haven’t figured out how they can get any votes out of it. Trump proposed shuttering parts of the internet to stop the so-called Islamic State from using it as an online recruiting tool. Trump didn’t explain how he’d shuttering the internet, saying he’d pass on the job to the “brilliant people from Silicon Valley””]
