Pre-release version of Windows 8 contains Flash hole

Adobe’s Windows version of Flash Player has been updated to version 11.4.402.265. Windows 8 users no longer have the option of manually updating the player, and that they need to rely on Microsoft’s automatic updates. Google Chrome was the first to make Flash Player an integral part of the browser and update it automatically. Microsoft’s own Malware Protection Center has warned customers of this bug, advising them to update Flash Player or implement other security measures. The vulnerability involves a buffer overflow that can be triggered by specially crafted font files in a Flash document.”]
