Dutch ethical hacker Victor Gevers was able to guess the password to President Donald Trump s Twitter handle last October. Gevers said he was performing a random check of high-profile Twitter accounts. He said beyond the incredibly weak password, two-factor authentication (2FA) had not been enabled on the account. The White House denied that the breach occurred, and when Gevers informed Twitter it was skeptical. Dutch prosecutors say Gevers did, in fact, guess Trump’s Twitter account by guessing his password, MAGA2020!
