Police try to unlock iPhone using dead man’s fingerprint

Linus F. Phillip, 30, was shot and killed by a Largo, Florida, police officers during a traffic stop in March. His fianc was at a funeral home when two detectives showed up and tried to use his corpse to unlock his iPhone. The attorney for the mans family claims what the detectives did was illegal, yet others claim it was legal but ethically wrong. The actions left the family feeling disrespected and violated and disgusting beyond words, attorney John Trevena said.”]
