Platinum Equity announced that it has completed the acquisition of McGraw Hill, a global leader in educational content and digital platforms, for a purchase price of approximately $4.5 billion. Platinum Equity: ‘The company is well positioned to help shape and facilitate the continued shift to digital taking place across the education landscape, to the benefit of students, educators and administrators around the world’. The company generates more than 60% of its revenue from digital products and services, and more than 80% in its Higher Education business.
