Phishing Scam Targets Apple Users

Anti-Phishing Working Group reports that on a monthly basis, it’s tracking more than 9,000 phishing domains. The message instructs recipients to update their accounts after being directed to a fake Apple webpage. Verizon’s breach report says 23 percent of all phishing message recipients open the message and 11 percent click on an attachment. As a result, falling for an email phishing scam may lead to account fraud, or the theft of sensitive personal information.”]
