Pennsylvania Casino Reports Data Breach

Las Vegas Sands Corp. is investigating a data breach that compromised information about some patrons and employees at its hotel and casino in Bethlehem, Pa. Information that may have been exposed in the Feb. 10 attack includes credit card information or bank account information. The company says it’s offering individuals who had their Social Security number, state or federal ID number, or banking information exposed a year’s worth of free credit monitoring and identity theft services. Less than 1 percent of all visitors to the Bethlehem casino since its opening in 2009 were affected by the breach.”]
