Paying a Ransom: Does It Really Encourage More Attacks?

Cybersecurity experts question the impact of the Colonial Pipeline’s apparent ransom payment. Some cybersecurity experts say the apparent payment is likely to have little influence on other attacks on critical infrastructure providers.
