James Thomson, the developer of PCalc Lite, received a legal nastrygram threatening a patent infringement lawsuit. Thomson is one of several indie app developers who have received a letter from Lodsys. Thomson isn’t the only developer who has received the letter, Patrick McCarron, has also received a similar letter. Lodys appears to be in the business of licensing patents, which it purchased from a man who sold his patents years ago, but was unaware of this morning’s news.”]
