The OurMine crew is back and they’re on a hacking spree, taking brief control of the social media accounts of high-profile individuals. The group took a break from media attention in 2017 but on January 22 they started to claim the spotlight again by hacking Twitter accounts of users flush with followers. In the latest round that happened today, they targeted the Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and/or Instagram accounts of multiple teams in the National Football League (NFL) and that of the League itself. The day before, the hackers accessed the Twitter account of Chicago Bears publishing a message for all 1.8 million followers to see.
