Oracle provides Java fixes directly to Mac users

Oracle is giving Mac users the ability to get Java updates at the same time as they are available for Windows and Linux. The Java SE 7 Update 4 JDK requires Mac OS X Lion to be updated, but not all holes are fixed. Java updates are automatic, but the Java plugin and Web Start are not yet available. You can download the update yourself and install it yourself, and the update requires Mac Lion. The latest version of Oracle’s JDK 7 and JavaFX 2.1 (and later) will be available on Mac, Windows and Solaris.”]
