Oracle to Fix 78 Bugs in July Patch Update

The Oracle Critical Patch Update for July is a huge batch of fixes for vulnerabilities in several of the company’s products. There are 13 new bugs in Oracle Database Server, two of which could be used to run arbitrary code on remote machines. All three of the vulnerabilities being fixed in Secure Backup are remotely exploitable. Oracle will release the patches for the bugs on July 19. The company says the patches will be released on Tuesday and the patches are due to be released by July 19, 2015.
