The flaws fixed in OpenOffice.org 3.2 could be exploited via GIF, XPM files and Microsoft Word document processing. Users are strongly urged to download and apply the patches to the open-source group’s new version of the desktop productivity suite. The flaws could expose users to malicious hacker attacks, according to an advisory released by the group. The vulnerabilities include a vulnerability from 3rd party libxml2 libraries and a vulnerability related to a vulnerable version of MSVC. For Windows users, the patches are required to be downloaded and applied.
