Developer Mike Tigas has stopped selling his Onion Browser for 99 cents in the iOS App Store. The Tor browser encrypts and tunnels users web traffic through the Tor network. He decided to make it freely available last month after four years of selling it in the store. He says it’s more important than ever to support freedom of speech, privacy rights, and digital security. In lieu of any more sales, Tigas is inviting people to support the project via a donation via the social network or Bitcoin.”]
