NSA Offers Guidance on Adopting Encrypted DNS

U.S. National Security Agency issues guidance on how organizations can adopt encrypted DNS. Encrypted DNS can prevent eavesdropping and manipulation of DNS traffic, the NSA says. DoH can protect the privacy of DNS requests and the integrity of responses, the agency says. The report is geared toward the military and defense contractors, but its recommendations can be adopted in all sectors. The NSA recommends that home, mobile and teleworking users without enterprise protection use DoH to protect the confidentiality and integrity of DNS.”]
