NSA allegedly hacked North Koreas networks before Sony attacks

The New York Times reports that the NSA has a secret foothold inside North Koreas computer networks, and actually saw the first spear-phishing attacks against Sony Pictures in early September 2014. The report claims the NSA failed to recognise the significance of the attack and did not warn Sony. And what does that say about the U.S. national security efforts?”]
