NHS Denies Widespread Windows XP Use

WannaCry Ransomware outbreak has led to allegations that some organizations were less well-prepared for the attacks. Windows XP remains the world’s third most-used operating system, accounting for 7 percent of all endpoints, compared to Windows 7 at 49 percent and Windows 10 at 26 percent. Microsoft stopped supporting XP with security updates and patches in 2014. NHS Denies widespread use of Windows XP, says most systems are still receiving patches and updates from Microsoft.
