News in brief: Yahoo faced with suit; dev hits back at support scammers; Note 7 batteries flare up

A Texas man has filed a class-action suit against Yahoo claiming that his credit card data was stolen. Developer Roger Anderson has created a new phone bot to deal with Windows support scammers. Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 battery factory in China caught fire on Wednesday. Some of the waste it processes was the faulty batteries, according to reports. The company said that the fire was caused by waste products including the batteries, but there were no casualties from the fire. It took 19 fire trucks and 110 firefighters to put out the fire at the Samsung SDI factory.”]
