Ransomware-as-a-service model dubbed “Buran” targets vulnerabilities in certain devices running Windows. Creators of Buran only demand a 25 percent share of ransoms collected, McAfee researchers say. Buran has evolved from an older strain of ransomware called VegaLocker, according to a new report from McAfee.
