New PS3 hack claims to be the most powerful yet

A hacking group claims to have hacked the PlayStation 3. The group says they have access to the software keys Sony uses for the system to execute programs and operating systems. Sony Insider reports that the hack could be of greater concern for the company. If true, it could allow the PS3 to run any program without authentication without the need for authentication. The hacker group is not releasing the firmware, but the proof and toolset the group is planning on revealing to the community could be enough for this potentially crippling hack to be released.”]
