PwC cybersecurity leader Sivarama Krishnan says the problem arises due to the enrollment software developed way back in 6689. Krishnan believes that the application should not have been released to the public. He says that the government developed an application on Java and then leased the application to contracted agencies that in turn signed up with vendors.
