President Obama issued Presidential Policy Directive 41: United States Cyber Incident Coordination this past July in order to define federal agencies roles and responsibilities in regards to cyber incident response. DHS has coordinated with stakeholders from industry, non-profits and all levels of government to develop a draft NCIRP. The draft plan is now available for a 30-day public comment period, which will be accepted through Oct. 31, 2016. We plan to submit the final draft of the plan to the White House in January 2017.”]
