Namecheap hosting and email DOWN in prolonged outage

Namecheap has been hit with a series of mysterious outages today and it is not clear why. The company with over 11 million registered users offers domain registration, hosting, private email services, and TLS/SSL certificates. The last point of failure was an NTT communications-owned IP (192.80.17.102) in the U.S., even via VPNs. This is likely related to the Level 3/CenturyLink’s Level 3 outage going on today. The latest update on the alert is from 9:27 AM ET stating: “Our whole team is still working hard”””
