MySpace Cracks Down on 69-Year-Old Members

MySpace says it has stopped letting people browse for members over the age of 68. Employees noticed some young members were jokingly listing their age as 69 (shorthand for a sexual position) Older members were then searching for 69-year-olds under 4 feet tall, in hopes of finding young members interested in sex. Engineers at MySpace have also flipped the drop-down list where new members select the year they were born. MySpace CSO: “There are lots of things a bad guy could do to get around systems””]
