Mozilla pushes out new Firefox and Thunderbird: 8 security advisories, 3 critical fixes

Mozilla pushes out its latest browser and email client updates today. There are 681 listed bug fixes, with eight separately-documented security advisories. Mozilla admits three of those holes are potentially exploitable, allowing for remote code execution. Microsoft and Adobe have already released their latest versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers and Thunderbird email clients. The latest version of the Firefox browser goes to 21.0, on Android as well as on desktops, and on 17.0.6.0.”]
