Mozilla Bug Bounty Payouts Going Up

Mozilla announced it has increased rewards for vulnerabilities submitted to its bug bounty program. For the first time, Mozilla will pay for some bugs whose severity is rated moderate. Payouts will be based on severity, ease of exploit and quality of the report. Mozilla also announced that it will recognize its top contributors through the establishment of the Firefox Security Bug Bounty Hall of Fame. Researchers have numerous options when it comes to reporting bugs, either to vendors, or disclosure programs such as the HP Zero Day Initiative.
