Moscow’s New Cable Car System Infected with Ransomware the Day After it Opens

Moscow’s first cable-car service was shut down after being hacked by hackers. Ransomware demanded payment in bitcoins to unlock the system’s files. San Francisco’s public transit system was also hit by the attack in November. The system is now back on track after being infected with the software, which is known to be known as ‘Ransomware’ in the U.S. It is not the first time the system has been affected by the software attack on public transport systems in the past.
