Mobile Website Flaws Cloak Click Fraud

Stanford University researchers warn that there are not nearly enough defenses against the technique on mobile websites. A glitch allowed hackers to access contacts, photos and more on Android devices simply by answering a Skype call. A new strain of mobile malware found on an array of apps can pull out sensitive data including audio recordings from Android phones. Many Web developers have added protections to. simply prevent the tactic on standard websites, but Stanford researchers say there are. not enough defenses to prevent it on mobile sites.
