Microsoft to Support the New Edge Browser After Windows 7 EOL

Tomorrow is the last day that Windows 7 will receive any security and operating system updates from Microsoft. Google announced last week that they will continue to support Google Chrome in Windows 7 through at least July 15th, 2021 to give organizations time to upgrade to Windows 10. The new Microsoft Edge is a Chromium-based browser, which is the same engine used by Google Chrome. If one works on Windows 7, for the most part, the other will as well. Windows 7 users should upgrade as soon as possible to keep their operating system secure.
