Microsoft announced today that it would continue to offer the Paint app through the Windows Store. The classic Paint app will be replaced by Paint 3D, a hybrid of painting and 3D editing software. The Paint app has a mythical status among Windows users, being one of the few that shipped since the first Windows release back in 1985. Microsoft also plans to block the use of the Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit (EMET) app, which it previously announced it will embed in Windows 10. The Fall Creators Update is set to be released in October or November.
