Microsoft: Russian SVR hackers target govt agencies from 24 countries

Microsoft: Russian-backed hackers behind the SolarWinds supply-chain attack are now coordinating an ongoing phishing campaign targeting government agencies worldwide. The attacks targeted approximately 3,000 email accounts at more than 150 different organizations. The campaign started in January 2021, and it slowly turned into a series of attacks culminating with this week’s USAID-themed phishing wave. The US government formally accused threat actors part of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (tracked as APT29, The Dukes, or Cozy Bear)
