Microsoft quietly pushed out updates for Windows 7 and 8.1 to address some persistent issues. The updates are not available via Windows Update and can only be downloaded via a manual download. The changes are nearly identical with one of Windows 10 July 2018 cumulative updates published earlier this week. There are no reported issues with either of these updates, so you shouldn t hit any problems when deploying them on your computer. If you are using Windows 7 Service Pack 1 or Windows Server 2008 R2 service Pack 1, you should download.
