Microsoft Is Paying Up To $250,000 With Its New Bug Bounty Program

Microsoft has launched a new bug bounty program to encourage security researchers and bug hunters for finding and responsibly reporting vulnerabilities in its latest Windows software. The tech giant has launched multiple time-limited bug bounty programs focused on various Windows features in the past five years. Microsoft is offering up to $250,000 in rewards to cybersecurity researchers who find vulnerabilities in the company’s software. Every single zero-day vulnerability in Windows OS could cause a crisis like recent WannaCry and Petya Ransomware attacks.
