Microsoft Edge Canary Now Lets You Block Autoplaying Media

Microsoft Edge Canary has added a flag that blocks autoplaying media on websites. This is an experimental flag, so it is not enabled by default while Microsoft works out any bugs. Even when enabled this feature will not block media on popular web sites. It is not known how Microsoft Edge will decide what sites are popular and those sites that should be blocked. Most popular websites will not be affected by the new flag – Mac, Windows and Mac users will be able to use the flag to enable the feature.
