Microsoft Brings Defender ATP Platform to macOS

Microsoft launches a limited preview of Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection for Mac. The company says it will help protect customers running non-Windows machines. The software will be compatible with the last three releases of Mojave, High Sierra and Sierra. Microsoft says it plans to expand Defender ATP to work on other platforms too. Security expert: “ATP is starting to fix that it lacks some enterprise management features (particularly reporting) in a few years it could be a major player” There’s much more malware for Mac than people realize, says Malwarebytes director of Mac and Mobile.”]
