Microsoft Announces New Wave of Nagging Popups

Microsoft announced two new nagging popups aimed at Windows 10 users starting this week. The first of these popups will only appear for users still running version 1507, the first version of Windows, released in June 2015. The second is aimed at all users who have yet to update to the Creators Update. Microsoft says it took the decision to show alerts in an effort to improve the security of Windows 10. It is unclear if by reviewing the new privacy settings, users are unwittingly giving the go-ahead to update their computers.
