Man Gets Convicted for Hijacking Facebook Account

Gareth Crosskey accessed the Facebook and the private e-mail account of a US-based individual on January 12, 2011. The case was reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which traced the source to the UK and passed it to the Metropolitan Police’s Police Central e-Crime Unit. Crosskey was arrested on July 14, 2011 under the provisions of the Computer Misuse Act 1990. He was released on bail and returned on February 29th 2012, when he pleaded guilty to two offenses under Britains computer misuse Act.”]
