Malware attacks on two banks have links with 2014 Sony Pictures hack

BAE Systems researchers find links between malware used in Sony Pictures attack and attacks on two banks in Vietnam and Bangladesh. Researchers say they used an identical function to wipe a file from an infected computer. There are strong similarities between the suicide script, encryption keys used by msoutc.exe and those used by malware involved in the Sony attack. The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation said North Korea was to blame for the Sony attacks (although security experts are divided on the matter) There’s still a chance that someone else is as handy with the code and reused the code to leave a false trail.”]
