LinkedIn training arm Lynda.com suffers data breach

Lynda.com, owned by LinkedIn, has suffered a security breach. Unauthorised third party accessed user database of 55,000 accounts. A further 9.5 million users are being warned that other information has been accessed. Contact information and courses viewed is also said to have been accessed, but password data is said not to be compromised. LinkedIn is no stranger to database breaches, and is being acquired by Microsoft. The site is resetting its user passwords and advises users to contact the support centre.”]
