LinkedIn information used to spread banking malware in the Netherlands

Fox-IT Security Operations Center detected large number of phishing e-mails with malicious Word document. The e-mail campaign appears to be targeting the Netherlands. The first name, last name, role and company name are all taken from the receiver’s LinkedIn page. Word document is scrambled, this is an attempt to trick the user into running the embedded Macro to view the document.
