Leaked Details of 142 Million MGM Hotel Guests Found for Sale on Dark Web

Hackers have found 142 million personal details from former MGM Resorts guests for sale on the Dark Web. The data leak of 10.6 million hotel guests’ details was previously thought to have been a result of a breach of DataViper, a data leak monitoring service. The company has acknowledged that there was indeed a data breach at its organization, though it did not publicize the incident nor how many credentials were breached. The breach could have affected up to 200 million MGM clients, according to a report on ZDNet.
