Kmart, another ordinary story of Credit Card Data Breach

Kmart revealed that an undisclosed number of credit card data belonging to its customers were stolen in a data breach which began in early September. The data breach was discovered by the security team of Kmart on October 9th, and has likely been going on since early September, according to the filing. The threat actors used a malware that was undetectable by anti-virus software, company spokesman Chris Brathwaite revealed that Sears had been upgrading its systems even before the recent incidents. Dairy Queen admitted that it may have compromised payment card information of customers across 46 U.S. states.”]
