Kinect Hacked to Play World of Warcraft

A University of Southern California hack lets you gesture control a game of World of Warcraft with Kinect. The toolkit is free for non-commercial use, and is being developed by the Institute for Creative Technologies. The hack uses Kinect’s motion-sensing and image processing to harness the power of the Kinect system. It’s obviously experimental, and we’re a little unsure about that awkward lean-to-move maneuver. With, or without WoW, or even Kinect, gaming is going to get even more innovative next year and beyond.”]
