Remote management software firm Kaseya says it did not pay a ransom to cybercriminals behind the attack. The company has not disclosed where the decryption tool or the key came from, but on Monday stated neither it nor a third party, on its behalf, had paid a ransom. At least 1,500 businesses are thought to have been impacted by the attack on July 2.
