John McAfee Indicted on Federal Tax Evasion Charges

John McAfee, founder of cybersecurity firm that bears his name, charged with federal income tax evasion. U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission files civil charges alleging McAfee promoted ICOs without disclosing he was paid to do so. He faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison for each count of tax evasion and one year for willfully failing to file a tax return. McAfees bodyguard, Jimmy Watson, Jr., was also named in the complaint for his role in the alleged scheme.”]
